Waimānalo / Makapu'u Point Post Stamp Sticker
Makapu’u Point is the eastern most point of O’ahu within moku Ko'olaupoko and is beloved by many for countless reasons. A peaceful place where winds kisses your face, where Koholā can be admired off shore in the winter months, and where both sun and moon are observed taking turns rising over the horizon in their never-ending cosmic dance.
This design illustrates the view of the windward coast looks out in the direction of Waimānalo town (96795) which is located in the middle distance beyond the two off shore islands, Mānana and Kāohikaipu (commonly known as Rabbit Island and Black Rock). Hard to tell from such a distance yet there are over 100,000 seabirds of various species living on these sanctuaries!
